For our first edition, we are honoured to welcome Romain Comte, Ambassador of Burgundy Wines, to lead the tasting for this opening evening.
The curated menu ranges from Chambertin “Clos de Bèze” Grand Cru to Sauternes “Château d’Arche”, thoughtfully paired with cheeses from Cheese Club.
Spaces are intentionally limited to preserve the evening’s intimacy.
WATER RESISTANCE IS NOT PERMANENT
Water resistance is a serviceable feature, not a lifetime guarantee. Gaskets and seals harden, compress, and corrode with time and exposure.
Have your watch pressure‑tested after any case opening, crown or pusher work, or strap change, and annually if you swim or dive. Rinse with fresh water after sea use and avoid thermal shocks like hot showers or saunas.
After any case opening > pressure test
After crown, tube, pusher, crystal, or spring‑bar work > pressure test
Before travel or diving > confirm last wet‑pressure test date
After sea exposure > rinse in fresh water and dry; schedule a wet‑pressure test sooner.
Cadence > wet‑pressure test annually for regular water use, or every 2–3 years for occasional exposure.
If you see fogging, corrosion, or sudden timing shifts > stop water use and bring it in immediately.
At Amplitude, we perform both dry and wet tests, and replace the full set of seals when needed.
Makers produced incense sticks or powdered incense with a known, consistent burn rate.
Many of these clocks incorporated bells, gongs, or metal strikers that were triggered at set points as the incense burned to a pin or weight.
Originating in the Song dynasty, they were widely used in temples and homes.

On Feb 7 we hosted the HK Diver Watches Group anniversary event, featuring a brand showcase, in‑depth technical talks, and a wine tasting with Romain Comte, Burgundy Wine Ambassador. The event wrapped with a quick quiz that sparked friendly competition.
